- The jobs listed will include a mix of permanent contracted employment, temporary contracts and in some cases self-employed or commission based work.
- Most jobs will show up on multiple sites.
- ‘Home based’ doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be at home all the time. In many cases you would need to be out visiting customers but using home as your base, or you may be required to attend the employer’s premises part-time.
- The links will show ‘home based’ or ‘work from home’ vacancies but you could try these keywords when searching their listings: ‘home-based’, ‘working from home’, ‘home working’, ‘work at home’, ‘remote working’, ‘remote employment’, ‘telecommuting’.
Another great job search website is http://Zoek.uk – very good at location-specific jobs search, and in learning what you’re searching for.
Thanks, Steve. I suggest people type “home based” into the Job Title box. That threw up quite a lot of vacancies for me.
I’ve added Zoek to the list now.
